WCFC was created by The Common Good fundraising agency. As one of Canada’s leading boutique fundraising consulting firms, The Common Good works across Canada and internationally. The Common Good has a significant client base in Western Canada, reflecting the roots of the firm’s principals, David Kravinchuk and Christal Pshyk. Working intensely in the region led David and Christal to recognize the lack of an annual, national-scope professional development and networking opportunity for fundraising professionals in Western Canada.
After more than a year of consultation with industry leaders, late-night musings with mentors, hallway meetings with conference colleagues, almost infinite favours-called-in, incalculable hours of number-crunching at the kitchen table and one giant leap of faith, WCFC was born.
